My hand is made of wood

Joe's Crab Shack was a good time. I didn't realize how good shrimp was until I had the high quality stuff. It was paid by an anonymous donor who sent me gift cards. That's cute. I hope that they have a good life. Random acts of kindness really inspire me to do the same.

The day before his baptism, Jairo texted us asking for us to pray for him because he felt something strongly urging him not to be baptized. He asked us to pray for him because it was frightening for him. We went inside the nearby church knelt and prayed, asking an angel to be sent to him. We texted him letting him know that we just barely sent him an angel and asking him what difference he's recognized. He let us know the next day that in that moment he received a random text from a family member that he hasn't talked to in quite awhile. They said some things that gave him hope for the future and peace with his decision to be baptized. It feels good to be a part of Jairo's life.

Met Octavio. He has a lot of faith in God and wants to be baptized. He's a Hispanic cool guy. Head shaved and big t shirt. Was embarrassed to be seen with us in front of his house so he invited us in. He's really interested though cus he's seen the difference a belief in Christ has made in his life

Was guided to visit someone in person on the way home. It led to us meeting Antonia. She's a truthseeker because she truly wants her family to be happy and she believes that Christ is the way for that to happen. Her brother has had a near-death experience. She wants to have spiritual experiences too though, so when we taught her simply about how to receive answers to prayer, she told us about how excited she was to start applying it. She lived in alaska. Has a crazy 4 year old kid that gave me a sour patch kid. I see a lot of myself in him.

Everardo called us on monday cus he got back from a trip to Mexico to see his mom and he wants to come to church again. He felt so loved and respected by the members of the ward here that he was really impressed and wanted to go back especially because when he went to the hospital a year ago the only people that visited him were members of the church. Never forget that the efforts you might think are little will make a world of difference in the lives that God will guide you towards.

This next transfer I am going to be staying with my companion Elder Paulino in the Spanish young single adult ward. We're going to be moving apartments though, which is hilarious.
