He Found MAXIMUM JOY & YOU can too!

Spiritual Thought: The words that have helped me out this week is something that one of the Spanish sisters said during our district and zone meetings: "God doesn't need us. He doesn't need us to accomplish his goals in missionary work, and he doesn't need us for him to be able to accomplish his goals in serving his children. However, he has joy as he does because of how he has been able to serve and love, and he wants us to be able to share in that." I have certainly been able to feel a part of that joy as I have been serving, and I am so grateful for this small time I have.  I came across a special scripture that enhanced my understanding of this principle when I was reading over 3Nephi, Chapter 28: 2-10. Christ is giving gifts to his disciples. Three of the disciples decide that they love doing this work so much that they don't want to die.   Setting Apart for Jonathan David Hale June 15, 2020 Serving in the California, Anaheim Mission Set apart and blessed by Stake President Steve Sargent of the Fruit Heights Stake.
