Time is Mani

Fav moments are at the end for those of you who read through the ENTIRE letter. That's right - it is now ILLEGAL to skip to the end.

My week
- We've started going through old records at my request and have been able to help people in great ways. One man in specific that hadn't been contacted for like 8 months walked us over to the park even though it was late and just unloaded telling us all of the difficulties that he dealt with with his now ex wife. By the end of it he was crying, I was crying, and my companion had his scripture ready. We had an amazing experience praying with him and talking with him about the gospel not as a lesson but as friends seeking to help another friend regain semblance of life. After this experience I've realized a bit of how much I've taken for granted having the gospel always in my life. There's no place I could or would rather be right now than guiding people to the Jesus Christ's restored gospel in Peru. These are true principles and I have seen them again and again change lives when genuinely applied. 2 Ne 10:24-25 is a good read. We should remember that it's God's principles that ring true to our conscience and give us peace.
- Making games out of language is amazing. We've been going through the alphabet sharing strange words in either of our languages and having the other use it in a sentence.
-Super important to be thankful for everything... especially things that we wouldn't intuitively like. Everything can be to our benefit if we look at it like that.
- Was reading through the story of Enos and noticed that first of all: He's pretty cool, and second: he's pretty cool (pt. 2). In vs. 8 it specifically says that he had never before heard or seen Christ, and yet after applying repentance to himself, he immediately shares (in v 19) all that he had seen and heard. He understood that value of what little he had seen heard (and felt). This man had begun to understand the atonement.
- We did p day party day all day today and that was sweet
