Miracle! We were contacting people on the way home yesterday, and we had a feeling that we should contact this one person that recently had been referred to us... but that we should wait ten minutes. Weird. Anyways, we decided to wait before going over even though we had nothing to do, and when we got there the lights were dark and on top of that there was a big fence and an aggressive dog in between us and the house. Right as we were going to leave & delete the referral record, someone pulled in that actually lived there and went in to get the person for us. Her mom and dad came out and they are excited to learn from us. The mom and dad especially want the family to come to church and the mom asked us for some stuff to read between now and the next time we pass by. Then an angel came down and - sike. Ok, but all but the part about the angel really happened. We're gonna have to pass them off to a family ward though because we're only in charge of teaching people in the ysa spanish ward 😪😭. They want the gospel so bad!!!

Isn't it so beautiful to just look at all the things around us? To just extend a finger and have it follow your every command? Or the mere fact that you can read this message? It is so much beauty in being and you have every moment before you. There are oftentimes feelings that can drag us down to misery and disappointment. We cannot deny that we feel what we are feeling, but it is my feeling and sentiment that when we change what we focus on we can still have the joy that was promised us. A sparkling car, a smiling child, a cup of fresh mountain water. What being created them? Whisper it if you know. We didn't do anything to deserve this joy!!! What can a snake do to feel the sunlight that it enjoys? The interilization of this principle will set the stage perfectly for us to understand the love that God has for us. "And now I ask, can ye say aught of yourselves? I answer you, Nay. Ye cannot say that ye are even as much as the dust of the earth; yet ye were created of the dust of the earth; but behold, it belongeth to him who created you." - king Benjamin, my favorite 

What motivation other than love would be enough to keep God giving you this opportunity to live and experience? Your God has loved you since the beginning and you will recognize this as you interact with Him.

What can we learn from Him? I have learned to live gracefully. (Give others reasons to have joy especially when they didn't do anything necessarily to deserve it)

Another thing we did this week was when we started to engage the members that have been given callings as ward missionaries. They haven't really been asked to do anything in the past, so we want to give them ideas on how to fulfill their calling and empower them on how to do it with weekly tasks. First though, we decided to send a survey that we made to ask their comfort level in a variety of things and how much time they can typically commit! We want help, but we're not interested in hurting relationships by asking them to do too much or things that are out of their comfort zone. It's going to be great!
